These are by $1 /pound the most expensive bulk Jordan Almonds we have ever bought. That's not my complaint--this is on me for buying them, anyway. The problem was the product, itself. First, the coating is roughly twice as thick as other brands. It is also not brittle, but slightly grainy. Then, all the duds! I started picking out the bad ones about 3 lbs into packaging. From under 7lbs, well over half a pound were: almond-free balls of coating, broken almonds that were completely coated, misshapen almonds--some with 2 or three coated as a mass, incompletely covered nuts with scars from air bubbles, cracks and chips, large misshapen globs of coating packed around almonds. I have never had a candy order with NO QC AT ALL!! I have bought seconds at outlet that were very high quality, but only had 20% broken almonds. They were less than half the price of these.
